ABOUT US
Lori W. Hanson was a partner in a nationally ranked law firm before she started Hanson Law P.C. The firm provides excellent and responsive legal services to health care providers, contractors, and small businesses. She obtained her J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1988 where she was a senior editor on St. Mary’s Law Review. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in College Station in 1984. Lori has been married to Larry W. Hanson, Jr. for 30 years, and they have one daughter who also graduated from Texas A&M, graduated law school at St. Mary’s University and is a new lawyer. Lori enjoys spending time on the beach in Port Aransas, reading and traveling.
Lori was a briefing attorney for the Fourteenth Court of Appeals following law school, and obtained extensive trial experience in her work at the Bexar County District Attorneys’ office, Civil Section, from 1993-1999. She then practiced insurance defense, medical negligence and commercial litigation as a shareholder or partner with Clemens & Spencer, Clark Thomas & Winters, Beirne, Maynard & Parsons, and then Akerman, LLP. She has tried numerous jury cases to verdict and handled state and federal appeals for clients.
Admitted to State Bar of Texas, United States District Courts for Western, Northern, Southern Districts of Texas. Not Board Certified in any Specialization.
