ABOUT LORI W. HANSON
Lori W. Hanson started Hanson Law P.C. with the goal of providing excellent and responsive legal services to health care providers, contractors, and small businesses. Previously, she was a partner in a Nationally ranked law firm. She obtained her J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1988 where she was a senior editor on Law Journal. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in College Station in 1984. Lori has been married to Larry W. Hanson, Jr. for 31 years, and they have one daughter who also graduated from Texas A&M, graduated law school at St. Mary’s University and is a new lawyer. Lori enjoys spending time on the beach in Port Aransas, reading and traveling.
Lori was a briefing attorney for the Fourteenth Court of Appeals following law school. She obtained extensive trial experience in her work at the Bexar County District Attorneys’ office, Civil Section, from 1993-1999. After that she joined Clemens & Spencer to practice insurance defense, medical negligence and commercial litigation and became a shareholder. She was chosen by well known firm Clark, Thomas & Winters as one of three attorneys to open their San Antonio office. In 2011, she joined Beirne, Maynard & Parsons, which merged into Akerman, LLP. She has tried numerous jury cases to verdict and handled state and federal appeals for clients.
Admitted to State Bar of Texas, United States District Courts for Western, Northern, Southern Districts of Texas. Not Board Certified in any Specialization.
